Jim Davidson, Davidson Global SecurityAs a Special Agent of the United States Secret Service, Jim Davidson protected six Presidents of the United States. In 1999, he founded Davidson Strategic Resources, the company now known as Davidson Global Security.

Secret Service Career

During his Secret Service career, Davidson provided protection for Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, and Bill Clinton. He was the Special Agent in Charge of Protection Details for many international dignitaries and heads of state, including Queen Elizabeth, Anwar Sadat, Menachem Begin, Hosni Mubarak, Mikhail Gorbachev, Martin Mulroney, Fidel Castro, and Yasser Arafat.

He also supervised event security for Presidential inaugurations and the UN General Assembly.

Jim Davidson directed Secret Service counterfeit currency investigations and U.S. Treasury-related forgery and fraud investigations. These involved global bank fraud, computer fraud, wire fraud, and identity theft. He represented the Secret Service on the William Bennett Drug Task Force, where he developed the largest drug-front investigation and prosecution case in the history of the DEA Mid-Atlantic Region.

He worked closely with local, state and federal law enforcement departments and agencies, and forged professional relationships abroad with U.S. embassies, national police directors, ministers of interior, and presidents of central banks and major commercial banks.

Davidson received numerous esteemed DEA achievement awards. He has also received numerous United States Secret Service Directors’ Awards for his outstanding professional achievements.

Davidson Global Security

Since retiring from the Secret Service, Jim Davidson has operated Davidson Global Security, a private firm that provides protection for Fortune 100 companies, corporate executives, film-industry figures, and world-ranked athletes.

Davidson Global Security has conducted numerous in-depth risk assessments to enhance clients’ physical and technical corporate security. Jim Davidson has consulted and developed security for the Discovery Land Company, the Betty Ford Center, and many other clients.

In addition, Davidson Global Security works around the world to investigate fraudulent financial transactions and recover funds.

Personal Notes

Jim received his bachelor’s degree from Oregon State University, where he was inducted into the Football Hall of Fame. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army. He played defensive tackle for the Los Angeles Rams. In 2009-2010 he served as President of the NFL Alumni, Southern California chapter. He is active in several organizations benefiting underprivileged children.
